Bardon Contracting awards FCL the order for supplying and laying some 70,000m² of Polyfelt PGM14 on Taxiways Delta, Victor and Whiskey on the Birmingham International Airport Major Maintenance Contract. FCL will be working closely with Bardon Contracting and Fitzpatrick on this project.

Lafarge use Polyfelt PGM-G200 in Gosberton, Lincolnshire. Both Lafarge and Lincolnshire Council were very impressed with FCL’s professionalism and speed of operation without any interference to the asphalting process.

Santa Pod have their annual rubber removal by FCL.  The rubber is carefully removed at a very controlled rate as the surface needs to retain a small amount of rubber for traction.
Osprey3000 makes its debut at our local airport, BAA Stansted. Osprey3000 impressed both Dyer and Butler and BAA with its efficiency and technology.

Ringway request Foster’s services for the supply and installation of 7,200m² of Polyfelt PGM-G100 in Latchmere Road, Wandsworth, London.

Foster Contracting Ltd worked closely with the consultants at Dalham Hall Stud to find a solution to the cracking of the asphalt at the main entrance.
Dalham Hall, known for its perfection in breeding and owned by HRH Sheik Mohamed (also renowned for his attention to detail), needed a more suitable solution to the reflective cracking that they had been suffering on the main entrance road. 
It was decided with the aid of Tensar that a suitable solution to retard the reflective cracking would be Glasstex P100.

FCL installs 10,000m² of Tensar’s Glasstex P100 for Dyer and Butler at Waterlooville Hampshire, not to mention the 800m² of GlasGrid CG100 supplied by Dyer and Butler.”

When the City of Derry Airport called FCL’s Ray Wicks he was only too happy to hop on a plane from London Stansted to see if Osprey3000 could be of any assistance. After liaising with Wally Walker of Airport Solutions Ltd, specialist in Airport Operations and Safety Management ( http://www.airportsol.com) it was decided that moss accumulation in the porous friction course seemed to be the cause of the low friction on the surface of the runway. The solution was a deep cleanse of the entire runway surface which brought the readings back to well above the acceptable level of friction.
