Visual inspections and additionally technical tests with appropriate equipment (i.e. deflection tests) are required to define the most economical road rehabilitation method.

Information like the original construction date of the road section, the road designer of the construction, contractor, supervisor on site, the last road maintenance action etc. is advisable for a more specific design.

The evaluation of the actual thickness of all existing bonded and unbound construction layers is in most cases possible only with drilling cores on site. These additional costs can be avoided.

RFID Geosynthetics® are able to store this information directly on the asphalt reinforcement product! At no cost to the client we can add this information to their road construction.
